About Behold Adventure!

I grew up with parents who weren’t nerdy. My family was full of love and support, but only open to some nerdy television shows, films, games, and books. My parents are not the nerdy variety, and what they taught and shared were far from the love I was discovering in fantasy and science fiction genres across the board. I was immediately enamored with dragons, unicorns, and magic, which later extended into my first reading of The Hobbit, then Lord of the Rings, and so on. Like many nerds, I built up my knowledge and love for things over time, cherishing the nostalgia while enjoying today’s newer content as it releases.

So I started Behold Adventure! to keep track of everything that falls under the nerdy umbrella—books, toys, family games, and more—with the hope that it will help other likeminded nerdy parents find the same fun things to share and enjoy with their own kids.
